2016, found glass

Sphered is cast with broken shards from the collected clear glass jars, which I used for the previous work, “Jars.”
After documenting the clear glass jars, I started to break them into small pieces and cast them into a sphere.
Due to the different chemical compounds of each jar, the shards are incompatible to one another. There is a possibility of disintegrating through the time.

Sphered weighs about 11.5 pounds.
